    Terms of Service

    Last updated: September 2026

    Welcome to BookActs. By accessing or using our website at bookacts.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service.

    1. Overview

    BookActs is an online directory and booking platform that connects event planners ("Users") with entertainers and performers ("Acts"). We provide the tools to discover, contact, and manage bookings but are not a party to any agreement between a User and an Act.

    2. Eligibility

    You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account you confirm that you are 18 or older and legally able to enter into binding contracts.

    3. Accounts

    You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep it up to date. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

    4. Act Listings

    Acts are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including pricing, availability, location, and media. Listings must not be misleading, infringe any third-party rights, or violate any law. We may remove any listing at our discretion.

    5. Bookings & Payments

    Any booking, contract, or payment arrangement is made directly between the User and the Act. BookActs does not guarantee the availability, quality, or performance of any Act and is not liable for any dispute arising from a booking. Acts may offer premium listings for a fee; premium placement does not influence the validity of search results and does not constitute an endorsement.

    6. Acceptable Use

    You agree not to:

    • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
    • Harass, abuse, or harm other users;
    • Scrape, copy, or redistribute content without permission;
    • Attempt to disrupt or compromise the Service's security;
    • Post false, defamatory, or infringing content.

    7. Intellectual Property

    The Service, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by BookActs and protected by intellectual-property laws. Content posted by Acts remains the property of the respective owner. By posting content, an Act grants BookActs a non-exclusive licence to display that content on the Service for the purpose of operating and promoting the directory.

    8. Disclaimers

    The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

    9. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, BookActs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

    10. Changes to These Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
